Welcome to your Citizens’ Dialogue in Ukraine

organized by The Influencer Platform

The Global Citizens’ Dialogue engages thousands of ordinary citizens in over 120 countries around the world aiming to open a channel of communication between each of you and decision makers. It is the first and largest ever citizen deliberation on the Internet. During the same day citizens will meet in each partner country to discuss and vote about the same questions. And you are invited to be one of them.

We are interested to know:

Whether you feel safe sharing your data on the Internet.
Whether COVID-19 has changed your habits online.
What is your attitude to disinformation online?
How much freedom of expression is important to you?
What are your biggest fears and hopes related to the Internet?
How you see the role of different international and national bodies in deciding on Internet policies?

Join a unique event and contribute to the future of the Internet. During the Dialogue you’ll be working in small focus groups of 7-8 people and fill anonymous individual questionnaires. Data collected from all countries will be summarized in a report and presented to the United Nations, the European Commission, the Council of Europe and other decision-making bodies on international, regional and national levels who will take them into consideration when drafting respective policies related to the regulation of the Internet.

When and where?

We cherished the hope that the situation with COVID-19 will improve by October and we will be able to meet you all in person. Unfortunately, the situation remains unstable. Caring about your safety and health we took a decision to move the Dialogue online. Very symbolically, we invite you to talk about internet on the internet.

Event location

The event will take place via Zoom. Access details will be shared with registered and pre-selected participants.

Event duration

We offer you to choose any of four available time slots to participate in the focus group:
From 10:00 to 13:00 (Kyiv time) on 10 October 2020
From 15:00 to 18:00 (Kyiv time) on 10 October 2020
From 10:00 to 13:00 (Kyiv time) on 11 October 2020
From 15:00 to 18:00 (Kyiv time) on 11 October 2020

We have only 100 places, hurry up to register to become a part of the global event with a real impact.

Attendance is free but registration is obligatory.

During the upcoming weeks we will publish short information materials and videos. They will help you to get a better feeling of the topics that we will be discussing during the Dialogue day.
